The Garden Residence will be one of the largest and most unique green areas among apartment complexes. The newest architectural documentation shows that the Garden Residence’s landscaping will cover 7000 sq m (100m x 70m), and will take the shape of a unique, multi level all year natural enclave for the inhabitants of our apartments.
In order to guarantee color vividness and the garden’s dynamics for the entire year, it will include dozens of leafy and coniferous trees, shrubs, creepers, grass, herbs and flowers. The rooftops will also take the shape of meadows, where over 200 crocus’ will grow. According to the design fundamentals, the landscapers have prepared a green spatial composition, visible from all levels: both from the alley paths as well as apartments located on every floor. The garden is not just plants and landscaping: pergolas, ponds and fountains. It’s also a natural habitat for wild birds which should add to the atmosphere at the Garden Residence.
According to experts, the complex’s garden will have a key influence on the courtyard. It will not only enrich the air in the complex with oxygen and decrease C02 levels. Properly selected plants, hydration and rain water utilization systems will help protect the area from overheating, which is often a burden at many apartment complexes which do not have such a natural barrier.
All the plants, which over the next few months will fill our garden, come exclusively from schools supervised by the National Plant and Seed Safety Inspection. In some cases these are ready, mature shrubs or even 10-15 year old trees which will be planted along Przemysłowa Street. The Garden Residence’s green areas – apart from the modern automatic garden systems – will be taken care of by one of the best and most experienced specialist firms, who are responsible for handling the Cracow Sheraton Hotel in this regard.
